Harry is one of a few Muay Thai trainers that is recognised by WMC Australia. He has years of experience as a fighter and trainer. He is also a qualified WMC judge and referee for Muay Thai. Harry is available for one on one personal training and private classes.
Anucha (Dhee) Laopraphan originated from Thailand where he trained in Muay Thai. He has over 15 years experience and teaches beginners to advanced and is a IFMA & WMC recognised Muay Thai trainer. Anucha is a former Muay Thai fighter and now is one of the Taipan team who brings a wealth of experience and knowledge from his home land. He is also available for one on one personal training and private lessons.
Joe Lee is a Pro Muay Thai fighter who was trained by Australian MTA President Tony Favuzzi at Taipan Muay Thai. Joe has fought some of the countries best Muay Thai light weights for various WMC and WBC titles including NSW and OLD light weight titles. He teaches oriental Muay Thai and is available for one on one personal training.
Brendan McDonnell is a Muay Thai and Fitness trainer with over 9 years experience. Beginning his practice at age 15, over the years Brendan has fought competitively and also spent time training in Thailand. Brendan has taught beginners and fighters to a high level in both Australia and overseas. He has a keen eye for technique and can help improve your game whether you’re a beginner or experienced campaigner. He ran his own gym in Adelaide before relocating to Bondi in 2016. Brendan has a great understanding of Muay Thai technique as well as fitness, strength and conditioning training. Zoran Taleski is an experienced trainer and fighter with over 11 years experience in Muay Thai. He is available for personal training.
At the age of eight, Josh commenced training in Martial Arts. He began his training in Aikido and then progressed to traditional Jiu-Jitsu and Judo. This continued until the age of 13 when Josh commenced training in classic boxing and spent numerous years training and assisting teaching.
At the age of 18 in 2003, Josh began training Krav Maga and still continues to this day, Josh has also continued to explore other martial arts to round out his experience. This includes several months of one on one training in Jeet Kune Do, Muay Thai training under numerous instructors and Brasilian Jiu Jitsu training under Peter De Beens instructors (as well as Peter himself) followed by a wide variety of other instructors which he continues to train with.
Whilst living in Melbourne Josh spent 2 years as head Krav Maga instructor at a well known Krav Maga School, this position involved teaching mens, women’s and fitness classes as well as creating and implementing the training syllabus for both students through to instructor candidates. Josh successfully trained 24 instructors who passed their initial grading by a Krav Maga Alliance Black Belt from America.
Josh is currently a full-time member of the Australian Army and has moved around Australia enabling him to experience a variety of different martial arts schools. Josh deployed to Afghanistan in 2013 where he spent time advising Afghan National Army, Police and National Directorate of Security. Josh has experience as an instructor at the Recruit Training Battalion where he instructed and managed recruit training. Josh’s relevant military qualifications include marksmanship instructor, military self-defence instructor and is qualified to coach or run small arms ranges up to mobile Armoured Fighting Vehicle ranges.
Upon Josh’s return to Australia, he continued training and teaching at a Melbourne Krav Maga school and was graded to Level Five (Brown Belt) instructor by John Whitman of Krav Maga Alliance. Josh is also a qualified Krav Maga instructor under Roy Elghanayan who is located in Los Angeles.
Josh continues to train under high level martial artists in Australia and abroad when the opportunity arises, these include Bas Rutten, Royce Gracie, Rener Gracie and Ralek Gracie to name a few.
